Eligibility for a Refund or Replacement

A full refund or replacement may be requested within 30 days of the original purchase date under the following circumstances:

 

        The product key fails to activate — if a licence key cannot be successfully activated, whether through an online process, the customer is entitled to request either a replacement key or a full refund. The customer may exercise their preference in this regard.

        The product key has not been used — where a customer wishes to cancel their purchase and the licence key has not been redeemed or activated, a full refund will be processed, provided the request is submitted within 30 days of the date of purchase.

 

Circumstances in Which a Refund Cannot Be Issued

Due to the nature of software licence keys, which are single-use and non-recoverable once redeemed, we are unable to process a return or refund in the following circumstances:

 

        The licence key has already been activated or redeemed — once a key has been used, it is permanently assigned and cannot be transferred or reassigned to another customer.

 

In addition, the following products are non-refundable by their nature, except where a defect is present or the licence key is confirmed to be invalid:

 

        Microsoft Office for Mac — due to the licensing structure of this product, refunds cannot be issued once the order has been fulfilled, unless the product key is defective or fails to activate through no fault of the customer.

        Microsoft 365 (all subscription variants) — refunds are not available for Microsoft 365 products once a licence key has been issued, except in cases where the key is invalid or defective and cannot be resolved by way of a replacement.

 

In all cases where a defect or invalid key is reported for the above products, Nerdused will first endeavour to provide a valid replacement key. A refund will be considered only where a suitable replacement cannot be provided within a reasonable timeframe.

        You must not rely solely on any single storage location for data that is confidential, sensitive, or otherwise critical to your business or personal operations.

        Nerdused shall not be held liable for any loss, corruption, theft, or unavailability of data arising from your use of our software products, irrespective of the cause.

        In the event of hardware failure, a cyber incident, accidental deletion, or any other data loss event, Nerdused accepts no responsibility for the recovery, restoration, or replacement of any data created or stored through the use of its software products.

 

You are strongly advised to implement appropriate data management, backup, and security procedures commensurate with the nature and sensitivity of the data you process when using Nerdused software products.
