Step 1. Preparing Your Device

Before installation, make sure your PC meets the minimum specifications:

• Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster processor or System on a Chip (SoC)

• Storage: 16 GB for 32‑bit OS or 32 GB for 64‑bit OS

Step 2. Downloading Windows 10 Pro

Sometimes Windows 10 Home won’t upgrade directly with your purchased key. In that case:

1. Disconnect from the internet (turn off Wi‑Fi or unplug Ethernet).
2. Open Settings → Update & Security → Activation.
3. Click Change product key and enter this default upgrade key: VK7JG‑NPHTM‑C97JM‑9MPGT‑3V66T
4. Once the system upgrades to Pro, reconnect to the internet.

Step 3. If Upgrade Still Fails

Unfortunately, some editions of Windows 10 Home cannot be upgraded with a product key. In this case, you’ll need to reinstall Windows 10 Pro:

• Run the installer. When asked for a product key, choose “I don’t have a product key.”
