Step 1. Preparing Your Device
Before installation, make sure your PC meets the minimum specifications:

Step 2. Downloading Windows 10 Pro
Choose the Right Download

Step 2. If the Key Doesn’t Work
Sometimes Windows 10 Home won’t upgrade directly with your purchased key. In that case:
- Disconnect from the internet (turn off Wi‑Fi or unplug Ethernet).
- Open Settings → Update & Security → Activation.
- Click Change product key and enter this default upgrade key: VK7JG‑NPHTM‑C97JM‑9MPGT‑3V66T
- Once the system upgrades to Pro, reconnect to the internet.
- Go back to Activation Settings and enter the Pro key you purchased.
Step 3. If Upgrade Still Fails
Unfortunately, some editions of Windows 10 Home cannot be upgraded with a product key. In this case, you’ll need to reinstall Windows 10 Pro:
